This tour Combines wildlife, hill stations, and lake scenery across Uttarakhand, Boating and lake activities in Nainital, a trip to nearby lakes like Bhimtal, a scenic drive to Ranikhet and Kausani for panoramic Himalayan views, and a 1-2 night stay at Jim Corbett National Park for jungle safaris. The itinerary usually starts in Corbett , moves through the hill stations, and ends with a Hill Station experience before returning, often covering destinations like Bhimtal lake, Naina Devi Temple,

Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park: Asia's first national park, established in 1936. It is a haven for wildlife, including the Bengal tiger, and is known for its rich biodiversity and the Ramganga River.

Activities: Experience a thrilling jeep safari to explore the diverse flora and fauna. Other activities include visiting the Corbett Fall, exploring Ramnagar Market, and seeing Garjiya Temple. 

Ranikhet and Kausani

  • Ranikhet: A serene cantonment town famous for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas, lush green meadows, and colonial-era architecture.
  • Kausani: A charming hill station known for its stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Nanda Kot, particularly at sunrise and sunset. It offers a more peaceful and secluded experience compared to Nainital. 

Nainital and Bhimtal Lake

  • Nainital: The "City of Lakes," known for the picturesque Naini Lake, where you can enjoy boating, yachting, or a leisurely walk around the lake. Don't miss the Naina Devi Temple, situated at the northern end of the lake.
  • Bhimtal Lake: A larger and less crowded alternative to Nainital, featuring an island in the middle of the lake that is accessible by a boat ride. 

Best time to visit: 

The best time to visit Uttarakhand is generally March to May for pleasant weather and September to October for good visibility and comfortable temperatures. The specific optimal time depends on your interests: summer (April–June) is ideal for hill stations and trekking, while winter (October–February) is perfect for snow and winter sports.  

How to Reach 

The main entry point and hub for Jim Corbett National Park is the town of Ramnagar

By Air: The nearest domestic airport is Pantnagar Airport, (PGH),  Apx. 80 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi to the park. The nearest international airport is the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi (around 260 km away), from where you can take a flight to Pantnagar or continue by road/train.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Ramnagar Railway Station (RMR), located just about 5 km from the park entrance. Direct trains like the Ranikhet Express and Corbett Link Express run from Delhi to Ramnagar. You can easily find auto-rickshaws or taxis from the station.

By Road: Jim Corbett is well-connected by a network of motorable roads. Many people prefer to drive or hire a taxi from Delhi, which takes around 6 hours. State government and private buses also run regularly from Delhi's ISBT Anand Vihar, Moradabad, and Nainital to Ramnagar.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Delhi – Arrival – Corbett (280 KMS / 06-07 HRS)

Upon Arrival at Delhi Airport / Station.  Our Driver will meet and assist you later Drive to Corbett. Jim Corbett National Park, Located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park is India’s oldest and one of its most celebrated wildlife reserves. Famous for its significant population of Royal Bengal Tigers, the park features a stunning landscape of dense sal forests, grasslands, river belts, and rolling hills. Corbett offers a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty, attracting wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers from around the world. Visitors can enjoy exciting jeep safaris, spot diverse wildlife such as elephants, deer, leopards, and over 600 species of birds, and relax in scenic riverside resorts along the Kosi River. On Arrival Check-in at Resort. Day free for leisure at Resort. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Resort in Corbett.

Day 02: Corbett – National Park by Jeep Safari – Ranikhet – Kausani (210 Kms / 6- 7 Hrs)

Early Morning at 06:30 AM Exploring Corbett National Park by Jeep Safari to Watch wildlife Species including Tiger, Sambhar, Panther, Hyena, Deer etc later Back to Resort for Breakfast afterwards depart to Kausani en-route visiting Ranikhet visiting Golf Course, Kalika Temple and apple Garden later continue drive to Kausani.

Kausani Known as the “Switzerland of India,” Kausani is a serene hill station in Uttarakhand offering breath-taking views of the Himalayan peaks like Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli. With its peaceful ambiance, lush tea gardens, pine forests, and stunning sunrises, Kausani is an ideal retreat for nature lovers seeking tranquillity and panoramic mountain beauty. On arrival Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure at Hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Kausani.  

Day 03: Kausani – Almora – Bhimtal ((118 Kms /03-04 HRS)  

After Breakfast Sightseeing Tour of Kausani visiting Anasakti Temple, Tea Garden and Baijnath Temple later depart to Bhimtal via Almora visiting Deer Park, Kesar Devi, Mohan Joshi Park, Chitai, Brightened Corner and Kamlimath Museum later continue drive to Bhimtal.

Bhimtal A tranquil lake town near Nainital, Bhimtal is known for its serene atmosphere, crystal-clear lake with an island in the centre, and lush green surroundings. Ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers, Bhimtal offers boating, scenic viewpoints, and calm lakeside walks away from the city crowds. On arrival Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Bhimtal.

Day 04: Bhimtal – Lake Tour – Nainital City Tour (18 Kms / 40 Mnts) – Day trip.

After Breakfast visit to Bhimtal Lake is a quiet and scenic freshwater lake surrounded by lush hills, famous for its crystal-clear waters and the charming island at its centre. Ideal for peaceful boating and nature walks, it offers a calm, crowd-free alternative to other hill station lakes., Sattal Lake, Sattal, a cluster of seven interconnected lakes surrounded by dense oak and pine forests, is a serene nature haven near Nainital. Known for its crystal-clear waters, rich birdlife, and peaceful ambiance, Sattal is perfect for boating, photography, and quiet moments in the lap of nature. We also visit Naukuchiatal Lake, known for its nine-cornered shape, is a deep, serene lake surrounded by lush green hills. Famous for its tranquillity, scenic beauty, and water activities like boating and paragliding, it offers a peaceful escape away from the crowds of nearby hill stations.

Afternoon proceed to Nainital, A charming hill station in Uttarakhand, Nainital is famous for its beautiful pear-shaped lake, cool climate, and scenic Himalayan landscapes. With boating on Naini Lake, vibrant markets, and panoramic viewpoints like Snow View and Naini Peak, it offers the perfect blend of nature, leisure, and mountain charm. On Arrival visit Nani Lake, Botanical Garden, Naini Temple, Mall Road, Cable Car Ride (At own cost). Evening drive Back to Bhimtal.  Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Bhimtal.

Day 05: Bhimtal – Delhi (320 Kms / 7-8 Hrs) – Departure

After Breakfast depart to Delhi. On arrival Transfer to Airport / Station for onwards Journey.  

End of Tour.
