Ayodhya is an ancient, sacred city in Uttar Pradesh, India, revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama, central to the epic Ramayana, and a major Hindu pilgrimage site situated on the Sarayu River, symbolizing India's deep cultural and spiritual heritage with historical ties to Buddhism and Jainism.
Pilgrimage Sites
Ram Janmabhoomi (Ram Mandir): The spiritual core of the city, believed to be the exact spot of Lord Rama's birth. The grand new temple, built in the traditional Nagara architectural style, was consecrated on January 22, 2024. It features 392 pillars and five magnificent mandapas (halls).
Hanuman Garhi: A massive 10th-century fort-temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is tradition for devotees to visit this shrine, reached by 76 steps, before proceeding to the Ram Mandir
Kanak Bhawan: A beautifully adorned temple gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi. It is famous for its intricate carvings and idols of Rama and Sita wearing gold ornaments.
Saryu River & Ghats: The holy river where pilgrims take ritual baths.
Ram ki Paidi is a series of steps on the riverbank used for large-scale celebrations, and Guptar Ghat is where Lord Rama is said to have taken Jal Samadhi (ascension to heaven).
Nageshwarnath Temple: An ancient Shiva temple believed to have been established by Lord Rama's son, Kush.

Religious Hub: Beyond Hinduism, Ayodhya is significant to Jains as the birthplace of five Tirthankaras, and to Buddhists as a site where Gautama Buddha is said to have resided.
Capital of Kosala: It served as the capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom, ruled by legendary kings like Ikshvaku and Dasharatha.
Deepotsav: The city holds a Guinness World Record for lighting millions of earthen lamps (diyas) on the eve of Diwali, celebrating Rama's return from exile
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Ayodhya – Arrival + Sightseeing
Morning Arrival at Ayodhya Airport / Railway Station. On Arrival our Local Representative will meet and Assist you later followed by Transfer to Hotel. After freshen-up visit Ram Janambhoomi Darshan, Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan. Evening Attend Saryu Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Ayodhya.
Day 02: Ayodhya Sightseeing
After Breakfast visit Ram Janam Bhoomi, Dashrath Mahal, Guptar Ghat, Nageshwarnath Temple and Valmiki Ashram and later free for Shopping at Local Market. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Ayodhya.
Day 03: Ayodhya – Departure
After Breakfast on time departure Transfer to Ayodhya Airport / Railway Station for onwards Journey.
