Its unique blend of spirituality, adventure, and heritage makes it an essential starting point for any Ladakh journey.
Nubra Valley
Located north of Leh, Nubra Valley is a breathtaking cold desert famous for its dramatic scenery, sand dunes, and double-humped Bactrian camels. The valley is formed by the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra rivers and is accessed via the iconic Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Nubra is known for its monasteries, lush villages, and contrasting landscapes of mountains and greenery.
