Srinagar
The tour begins in Srinagar, renowned for its serene Dal Lake, Mughal gardens, and breathtaking Kashmir Valley landscapes. Srinagar sets a calm and picturesque tone for the adventure ahead.
Zoji La Pass
From Srinagar, the route ascends to the dramatic Zoji La Pass, a high-altitude gateway between Kashmir and Ladakh. Snow-capped peaks, narrow roads, and panoramic views make this stretch thrilling and unforgettable.
Kargil
After crossing Zoji La, travelers reach Kargil, a historic town on the banks of the Suru River. Known for its role in Indo-Pak history, Kargil also offers rugged mountain scenery and a glimpse into the local Balti culture.
Leh
The journey continues to Leh, the heart of Ladakh. Surrounded by stark mountains and monasteries, Leh offers attractions such as Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and vibrant local markets. It also serves as the acclimatization hub before visiting higher-altitude regions.
Nubra Valley
From Leh, the tour proceeds to the stunning Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La Pass. Nubra is known for its cold desert landscapes, sand dunes at Hunder, double-humped Bactrian camels, lush villages, and monasteries nestled between the Shyok and Nubra rivers.
Pangong Lake
The highlight of the tour is the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake famous for its ever-changing shades of blue. Stretching across India and China, Pangong offers surreal scenery, peaceful surroundings, and an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Srinagar Arrival
Arrival at Srinagar Airport. On Arrival our driver will Pickup and assist you later Transfer to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar – Sonmarg - Zoji-La (3528 m)-Kargil (204 km)
After Breakfast Drive to Kargil Via Sonmarg and crossing famous Zojila pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World). Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay war memorial hall site and also visit Kargil/Vijay war memorial. Later continue drive towards Kargil. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Kargil -Leh (225 Kms approx.)
After breakfast move to Leh. Enroute visit Mulbek- Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru-one of the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and enjoy the view of Moon Landscape.
Also visit Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River), Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib and Magnetic hill. On arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Leh Local Sightseeing Tour
Afternoon Local Sightseeing Tour of Leh. Visit the Pathar Sahib. It is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak. Visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, this Palace provides panoramic views of Leh and Surrounding areas, it holds a rich collection of jewellery, palace Ornaments, Ceremonial dresses and Crowns. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 05: Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass: (140Km / 5 -6 Hours)
Early morning Proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass.
Arrive Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis).
Thereafter, check in at a comfortable Camp. Evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Camp.
Day 06: Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shayok
Morning after Breakfast, check out and visit Diskit Monastery. Post this proceed for journey to Pangong via Shayok.
On arrival check in at your camp/cottage in Pangong. Later, explore Pangong Lake and spend some quality time at Lake. After this come back to camp/cottage. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Camp/Cottage.
Day 07: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass (approx. 140kms one way)
In the morning have breakfast at your camps in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey
back to Leh via Changla pass. Upon your arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 08: Leh Airport -Departure
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight to onward journey.
End of Services.
